I'm loving this game! I love picross games so much and love the added complexity of numbers not being auto-crossed off and having to submit to se if it's correct. I'm a bit stuck though. I can't find the item to get the jellyfish and I feel like I've really been everywhere!
Thanks for your comment, and I am so glad you like the game! Columbrine has given you a good hint--you'll need to explore the Moon Cottage Bed & Breakfast to find the Jellyfish's missing stone. :)
I'm sorry for getting to this comment late! I missed the notification somehow.
No worries! What a sneaky little hidden bit, I love it! This game is so much fun and I love all the extras :) I finished the main bit and was so excited to see all the bonus puzzles!
Thank you for making this. I've played a ton of picross games, and I've never seen one that makes you submit the puzzle when you think you're done. At first I wasn't sure what to make of it, but I actually like the idea a lot. The no punishments or indications of when you hit a wrong square is only figured out by your own merits when you correctly/incorrectly submit it at the end. I also really like the story, good stuff. My only critique is the controls are a little slidey in the puzzles.
I adore Picross and this game was such a treat. In fact, this may well be the best homebrew I've ever played; it's really well made and feels like a complete package of the same calibre of any big studio GBC release of that era.
Thoroughly enjoyed getting to 202% (took me ~10h). The setting, story and friendly vibes make this such a nice game to wind down with. The simple adventure feel paired with Picross goes so well and I would be very excited if a sequel was ever released.
I also absolutely loved the chiptune versions of the various classical pieces, was a very pleasant surprise to come across some of my favourites as I was playing.
This comment means a lot to me, and I truly appreciate that you took the time to write it. I'm pleased to say that I have been working on a sequel (although I took a brief hiatus on that to work on an update to the first TaiFab--I'm going to a gaming convention this weekend and hopefully bringing physical copies of the game)!
It's really gratifying to read comments from players like you. Thank you so much!
Played a few official Picross games recently from across the Nintendo consoles and I genuinely feel that this surpasses all of them. Thank you for hours of puzzle fun!
SECRET 202% PARTY IN THE SEWERS LET'S GOOOO Absolutely adorable little fever dream of a Picross Gameboy game. I love the backstory, sounds like something I would do while sick lol.
I am in favor of more people turning their weird fever dreams into funny creative projects! Thanks so much for playing TaiFab and sharing your kind comment!
I'm very glad I randomly stumbled upon this game. I love the humor and atmosphere. The puzzles are engaging without being too tough. Thanks for making and sharing your fever dream of a game
What a cute little game. I just finished it in around 6h on my Miyoo Mini Plus.
I love the idea of the museum and the overworld, I just wish the actual picross engine would be more fleshed out, especially when compared to Mario's Picross. Some grid lines or acoustic feedback would go a long way, maybe even crossed-out numbers.
I'm looking forward to the sequel, or any other objetdiscret games for that matter :)

I'm glad you are enjoying the game! It turns out the Jellyfish isn't the only one in the game with an eye for rocks.
You will find someone else is involved in the gem trade if you look deeper in the Moon Cottage Bed and Breakfast.
Ahhhhh THANK YOU, that's clever!

If you are having trouble finding the Sea Angel, try looking in and around the Developer House north of the Museum
Thanks so much for your kind comment! I'm so happy you're enjoying the game!
As for the sea angel, Columbrine has given the answer in his reply. :D

This is one of my favorite GBC games of all time now. Thank you for making such a wonderful game!

Now on to the long gallery...
Thank you for your thoughtful comment! I'm glad you enjoyed the game. :)
Does anyone know how to find the object to complete the jellyfish fish power? I've been running around looking for it for so long nowww :/
Hi! Have you explored the Moon Cottage Bed & Breakfast much yet? There might be more secrets to find there. 🙂
What a charming little game! I'm having a lot of fun playing it!
I'm just having some trouble finding one item and one fish. I feel like I've searched just about every inch of the game. Please help!
Hey, I'm so glad you're enjoying the game! Thank you for your kind comment!
You'll need to find the last Fish Power in order to get the last item. Have you tried searching the Crystal Lake?
Oh my gosh thank you!! I thought the other side of the dock might have something, but I guess I wasn't walking in the right place!
